It was a simpler time.

 

There were no cell phones. No Xbox. No instant access to information and music. We had big phones attached to walls, the Atari 2600, magazines, and record stores (Record World, anyone?).

 
And we had '80s metal!

Radius80 is a project centered around heavy metal from the '80s. We think it's time for a lot of the great songs of the '80s to get another spin from old and, hopefully, new fans.

 

We're not going to cover the most popular or iconic songs from the '80s. Everybody knows those. We're focusing on the not-so-known-but-still-killer tunes of the time, typically from bands that didn't get a lot, if any, press. We'll throw in some original tunes, too.

We also want to be the place for '80s metal merchandise, from mugs and hats to t's and pullovers. 

 

We'll start off with a few songs and a few prints and see how things go. If things look good, we'll do some more.
