Welcome to Radius80! We're a site, band, and style that acknowledges the awesomeness of '80s heavy metal music.
Being a kid of the '80s, it was a formative and fun decade, especially the music. I acknowledge a lot of people may not like '80s metal. And that's fine. We all have an affinity for the music we grew up on. However, there is a lot to like about this era of metal and hard rock music, especially from bands and artists that aren't particularly well known.
And that music is worth listening to today.
So one of the things we're going to be doing here is offering up some of those gems, albeit in a slightly modified way. We hope you stick around and see what we come up with.
